Video game graduation project made for ESA Saint-Luc Brussels

ASRA is a puzzle game played with a virtual controller in the shape of a tower made up of several rotating cylinders. The goal is to guide a young woman through the different levels of a tower and to help her to bring the night back into the sky. You can create shadow paths with the controller which can interact and rotate elements of the game.

Duration of the game : around 15-20min

Controls : ZQSD (for AZERTY keyboards) or directional arrows to use the virtual controller. Spacebar to confirm a shadow path

If you can't solve a level, you can skip the level by pressing Enter

The game was made for windows, there is a mac version but there is no guarantee that it is compatible with your device. Be careful to have the correct graphics card selected in Windows or Mac befaure launching the game. You must have a decent graphic card to run the game correctly.

The game is "released" but can possibly receive updates to be improved in the future.

I love the music! Is there a place where we can find it?

There is no place to listen the original music, but you can listen to "Coline & Toitoine" on Spotify, the track "North" has similar vibes made by antoine :)

Hah! When you find a game after your name 😌

Here is my playthrough.

This game was very cool! I loved the aesthetics and symbolism. It would definitely be nice to find out more of the lore of the Night and Day.

During my playthrough I came across a couple of 'issues'.

The first was minor, but at around the 9:10 mark, I solve the puzzle but it is rejected. Even though there is no obvious breaks in the shadow path, it won't continue. I rotate a couple of things back and forth and magically it is accepted.

The second, around 16:30, due to the perspective, it wasn't obvious that the outer platform connected with other elements because the aura of the night plant obscured things. Extending the platform a little more so it visible beyond the aura would be very helpful.

In any case, thank you for the wonderful experience. 😊

Hi mr.rubbish, thanks a lot. It seems like a minor bug on 9:10, we had not seen it. The visibility at 16:30 can be easily corrected. Thanks a lot for your feedback !

You're very welcome! 😊
